Client contacts us today, with two days notice, for a hotel room, midweek, in Washington, DC. Two days before intended travel date.
It's Cherry Blossom Festival time in DC right now! $239, or more, per night! Plus tax! After three+ hours of crafting this reservation, we got a room for the client (there was only one room left on property).
Their rate, thanks to our work? $105.00 per night!
How did THAT happen? We called the property directly, tried different discount codes and corporate discount codes, spent an hour on the phone doing so.
Our reward? The booking is deemed "non-commissionable"!
The real reward: The client got exactly what they needed and at the rate they wanted. Actually lower! But she's HAPPY! And that's what matters.
We'll get rewarded on some other booking! But we got it done!
Still need a reason to consider using a travel professional to serve you? We do whatever it takes.
