CLIENT REMEDIES from AMRESORTS.
American Airlines Delayed/ Cancelled Flights
Dear Travel Partners:
We have been made aware of an unforeseen systems error at American Airlines which has cancelled or delayed some flights, therefore requiring travelers to reschedule or cancel their travel.
As a special accommodation for our mutual clients, AMResorts will be enacting the following policy, effective immediately:
GUESTS SCHEDULED TO DEPART BUT UNABLE TO DO SO: Guests who are unable to depart due to American Airlines flight cancellations will be offered accommodations and all services at the rates indicated below by brand on a USD per person, per night all-inclusive basis, to be paid directly at the hotel. These special circumstance rates are extended as a courtesy to American Airlines travelers only, subsidized by the resort and not available otherwise.
Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts: $119
Secrets Resorts & Spas: $99
Dreams Resorts & Spas: $89
Now Resorts & Spas: $89
Sunscape Resorts & Spas: $69
GUESTS SCHEDULED BUT UNABLE TO ARRIVE: No-show/cancellation fees will be waived for guests who are unable to arrive today due to the cancellation of American Airlines flights. We will continue to advise if there are any additional extenuating circumstances. These guests will be able to arrive on a later date with the following options:
- Arrive on first flights available and simply stay the same number of nights confirmed at the same rate (based on availability)
- Arrive on first flights available and stay until their original departure date being charged only for used nights. (We appreciate that some guests may not be able to get a different return flight home and/or cannot extend their vacations/holidays beyond their original dates due to work, school, etc.)
